Sculpture is three – dimensial artwork creating by shaping hard or plastic material, commontly stone (either rock or marble), metal or wood. Some sculpture are created directly by carving, other are assembled, built up and fired, welded, molded, or cast. A person who creates a sculpture is called a sculptor.

Because sculpture involves the use of materials that can be molded or modulated, it is considered one of the plastic art. The majority of public art is sculpture. Many sculpture together in a garden may be referred to as a sculpture garden.
